After January 30 2013, Google dropped Exchange ActiveSync support.
Now if you add a Google account in Windows Phone 7.8, you can sync only emails.
But if I want to sync my Google Contacts and Calendars...??
Just follow this steps:
- Go in Settings >>> Email + Accounts.
- Add an account.
- Choose Outlook (Outlook.com, Exchange, Office 365).
- Write you Google email, password and press Sign In button.
Fill the new page with this informations:
- Account: your Google email
- Domain: google
- Server: m.google.com
Et voilà, you done! :)
Nice application, but I talk about built-in wp sync with Google. You add only contacts right?

Thanks very much. After my Win7 phone got reset, I couldn't sync anything. Converting to hotmail calendar gave me dups & no sync capability. Online research (esp microsoft stuff) all said it couldn't be done any more. So thanks a whole lot!!! :-D

RispondiEliminaAre you sure, you write good the server,domain and your account? I don't remember if the account needs "@gmail.com"
EliminaThis didnt work for me. I replaced the domain "google" through "aspmx.l.google.com". Also some old accounts require the original name of the account, for me name@googlemail.com.

RispondiEliminaI followed the steps but didn't work for me, after all the steps there is a warning message saying that my google apps account is not set for Mobile, telling me to change these settings on my Google Apps Account, but the problem is that I don't have any Google Apps Account, How can i solve it?
